「either of ～」と「neither of ～」の意味と使い方
①「either of ～」（～のどちらか）
（意味）
- 意味：2つのうちどちらか一方
- 肯定的な内容で使います。
（構文）
either of + 複数形の名詞（または代名詞）
＊ただし、「either」は単数扱いなので、動詞は単数形になります。
（例文）
- Either of the books is fine.
（その本2冊のどちらでも大丈夫です。） - I don’t think either of them knows the answer.
（彼らのどちらも答えを知らないと思う。）
（使い方）
- Either of the shirts is fine.
（シャツはどちらでも大丈夫です。） - You can choose either of the two pens.
（その2本のペンのどちらかを選んでいいよ。 - I don’t mind. Either of the movies looks good.
（どっちでもいいよ。映画はどちらも良さそうだね。）
② neither of ～（～のどちらも…ない）
（意味）
- 2つのうちどちらも…ない
- 否定的な内容になります。
（構文）
