代名詞①「 one, another, other, others, the other, the others」について

（１） one

・意味：「1つ（人・物）」＝特定しない1つを指す

・単数形のみ

・可算名詞を受ける

（ 例文）

1. He took one and left the rest.
   　（彼は1つを取り、残りは置いていった。）
2. She bought one for her friend.
   　（彼女は友達のために1つ買った。）

（２）another

・意味：「もう1つ（の）」「別の1つ（の）」

・単数形のみ

・可算名詞に使う

・すでにあるもの以外の「別の1つ」を指すとき

（例文）

1. I’d like another cup of tea.
   　（お茶をもう1杯ください。）
2. Let’s watch another movie.
   　（もう1本映画を見ましょう。）

 （３）other

・他の〜（形容詞：名詞の前につける）

（例文）

1. I want to try other colors.
   　（ 他の色も試してみたいです。）
2. She has other things to do.
   　（彼女には他にやることがある。）

（４） others

・他の人たち／他のものたち

1. Some left early, but others stayed longer.
   　（早く帰った人もいたが、他の人たちは長く残った。）
2. Some people like hiking, while others find it tiring.
   　（ハイキングが好きな人もいれば、疲れると思う人もいる。）

（５） the other

・残りの1つ（または1人）

1. I have two pens. One is blue, the other is black.
   　（ ペンが2本ある。1本は青で、もう1本は黒。）
2. I parked my bike on the other side of the street.
   　（自転車は通りの反対側に止めた。）

（６）the others

・（残りの）他のすべて（複数）

1. I’ve finished my homework, but the others haven’t.
   　（僕は宿題を終えたけど、他の人たちはまだだ。）
2. You can eat these. The others are for my sister.
   　（これらは食べていいよ。残りは妹の分。）
